Here is a great definition from the University of Arizona, Academic Affairs "Interleaving is a process where students mix, or interleave, multiple subjects or topics while they study in order to improve their learning. Time Signature or Meter is a way of measuring time in music. Located at the top left of the music you may be reading, the bottom number indicates the type of note that gets the beat. The top number indicates how many beats are contained in each measure.
