Practice Challenges

A little friendly competition to help motivate your piano kid to get to the piano and practice.

March Photo Challenge

The March Pianogram Challenge is more of an opportunity to share with other musicians around the world than a true challenge. Students follow the daily prompts to share what their musical corner of the world looks like. #PPPpianogram

(Parents, most of the pictures need to be taken at the piano or with your piano kid’s music. While they are at the piano, they might as well practice, right? See what we did there?)

Spring 100 Practice Challenge

This practice challenge couldn’t be easier – for the parent, and more beneficial – for the piano kid.

Students know they should practice but they often lack discipline to do the hard work consistently. As they are working, children frequently don’t notice the progress they are making. The Spring 100 Practice Challenge will help both these problems. #spring100

Fall Into Music September Practice Challenge

The September Practice Challenge is called “Fall Into Music”. Students are challenged to practice 20 days in the month of September.

Students can follow other challengers by searching #fallintomusic on their social media platforms.

PIANOVEMBER Practice Challenge

Teachers and piano studios get to go head-to-head in this fun practice challenge. Students earn tally marks every time they play any piece on any piano (except during their actual lesson). A weekly scoreboard is posted on the Piano Parent Podcast Facebook Page and Instagram so students can see how they measure up. #pianovember
