PPP136: No Foolin’! This performer had fans screaming and swooning in the aisle and it’s probably not who you think.

Happy April Fool’s Day! You’re no fool though because you are listening to this wonderful podcast! 🙂

I did try to fool you with the title of this episode. Do you have a guess? What if I told you his fans pulled and clawed at each other trying to be the first to grab something he had touched: a glass or a handkerchief or even a cigar?

Are you thinking of Elvis Presley maybe? or Queen with the recent revival of their music (I had a third grader ask me if I’d heard of Bohemian Rhapsody yesterday!)

Think of Beatlemania and the franzy of fans at their performance on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. Now, go back in time 100 years.

Hi Kathy! Thanks for listening. Currently, the only printed form would be the highlights I post in the show notes. If I get more requests like yours, I will certainly check into making transcripts of the audio. Thanks again for listening and, especially, for the feedback! Please give your students a big Texas Howdy! from me! ♥
