Welcome back and Happy New Year 2018!

This is the time of year when we evaluate our lives and see where there is room for improvement. It is also a great time to set goals or set a new determination to reach goals we’ve already set.

My goal for my children as they grow and mature and become independent adults is for them to be happy, healthy, and contributing members of society. Learning to play the piano and make music was a big factor in achieving that goal.

Happy

Let go of perfection.

Perfection is not attainable. But if we chase perfections, we can catch excellence. Vince Lombardi

Learn to be content.

Learn to strike a balance between striving for improvement and being content.

Healthy

Break larger obstacles into smaller, more manageable tasks.

Learn more than one way to solve a problem.

Figure out what works for you.
